Bertha Gertrude Summerville, 88, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Huron, surrounded by family.

Born Oct. 17, 1917 in Russell County Ky., she was the daughter of King Samuel McGowan and Artie Eliza (Adams) McGowan.

Survivors include her niece, Linda Henson and grand-nieces, Pam and Tammy Henson.

Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
