Otha Lee Wiggington, 74, of Linton, passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born Sept. 10, 1931 in Russell County, Kentucky, he was the son of Bluford Elmore Wiggington and Nerva L. (Brummett) Wiggington. He was married to Stella (Digrazia) Wiggington.

He was a social worker for many area churches and was affiliated with several churches.

Survivors include: his wife, Stella Wiggington of Indianapolis; a brother, Armon Ray Wiggington of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two sisters, Betty Crosby of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Margie Wheatly of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Gene, Elmore, and Charles Wiggington.

A graveside service was conducted on Saturday at Walnut Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Bob England officiating.

There was no public visitation.

Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
