Elizabeth C. Dudley, 87, Linton passed away at Wednesday on July 19 at Freelandville Community Home in Knox County.

Born Dec. 25, 1918 in Sullivan, she was the daughter of Newton J. and Margie (Vickery) Dudley.

She retired from General Electric in Linton. She was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church and the Linton American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a niece, Judy Koons and her husband, Ron, of Linton; a nephew, Jimmy and his wife Mary Smith of Monrovia, Calif., two great-nieces, Cathy Land and husband Lonnie, of Linton and Christy Ducharme, of Linton, great-great nieces and nephews Kevin Ivy, Ashley Ducharme, Lauren Land and Wyatt Land, all of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Brenda, a brother, Harold Dudley; two sisters, Lorene Dugger and Cecile Smith.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, and after 1 p.m. on Friday.
