Betty J. Hiatt, 76, of Linton, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006, at the Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born January 25, 1930 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Cecil L. and Lorraine J. (Wold) Hiatt.

She worked for American Latex & Gossards, both in Sullivan, and as a Nurses Aide at the Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was a member of the South Bethany Christian Church in Columbus, and attended the Linton First Christian Church.

Survivors include: three daughters, Patti Jo Â"P.J.Â" (Vienazindis) Myers of Linton, Nancy (Vienazindis) Sapp of Midland, and Sandi (Vienazindis) Millem of Terre Haute; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael R. Vienazindis in 1968.

Funeral service will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
