Born Feb. 17, 1912, in Linton, she was the daughter of Homer and Maymie (Blakley) Curnutt.
She was a homemaker and attended Friendly Grove Baptist Church in Coalmont.
Survivors include: two brothers, Homer Curnutt of Griffith and Russell Curnutt of Seminole, Fla.; a sister, Virginia Duncan of Linton, three grandchildren, Glen Lawson of Auburn, Maine, Scott Lawson of Prosperity, W.Va., and Kim Lawson Kohr of Upper Jay, N.Y.; and three great-grandchildren, Jedidiah Lawson, Grace Lawson, and Emma Kohr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lawson; her parents; a son, Richard Lawson; a brother, Lewis Curnutt; and two sisters, Maxine Greenwood and Ruth Carmicheal.
Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Harold Thomas officiating.
Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
