Margaret Adelle Blair Warrick

Margaret Adelle Blair Warrick, 88, of Linton, and formerly of Jasonville, passed away at 6:55 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 14, 2006 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born Oct. 27, 1917, in Patricksburg, she was the daughter of John Frederick and Hazel (Rentschler) Blair.

She was a life-long educator at Coalmont, Jasonville, and Midland, and retired from the Shakamak School Corporation in 1977. She was a 1939 graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, a member of Jasonville First United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa of Jasonville, Past Worthy Matron and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star of Jasonville, and a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association.

Survivors include: three sons, J.B. and his wife Sheri Warrick of Bloomfield, Colo. Tim and his wife Joan Warrick of Linton, and Brent W. and his wife LuAnn Warrick of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Paula and her husband Jerome Stillions of Bloomington; nine grandchildren, Deanna, Donald, Matt and his wife Miriam, Mary-Margaret, Corianne, Jennifer, Whitney, John, and Michael; and three great-grandchildren, Jaden, Gentry and Audrey.

She was preceded by her husband of 46 years, James Paul Warrick and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. David Deal officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday. The Linton Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the Jasonville First United Methodist Church.
