Ruth O. (Allen) Gamer, 77, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Aug. 12, 2006 at Bloomington Hospitality House.

Born on May 15, 1929 in Monroe County, he was the son of David Allen and Ada (Mason) Allen.

She was employed at Mayflower Transit Company in Bloomington and was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include: one son, Ralph (Little Renegade) and his wife Marilyn Robertson, of Bloomington; one sister, Nancy Reed, of Linton; one brother, John Allen, of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Erica Williams, of Bloomfield and Barbara Raley, of Bloomington; three grandsons, Eric, George and Audie Sullivan, all of Bloomington; two great grandchildren, Kim Sullivan and Teyia Padget; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will be at Springville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
