Born Jan. 28, 1940, in Freelandville, she was the daughter of Mearl R. Clifford and Golda (Wittenmeyer) Clifford.
She was retired from General Electric and was a member of the Marco Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons and three daughters-in-law, Chris and Peggy Sharp of Linton, J.D. and Doris Sharp of Linton, and Patty Sharp of Princeton; two brothers, Don Clifford of Terre Haute and Wayne Clifford of Switz City; three sisters, Betty Walters of Spartanburg, S.C., Virginia Stremmings of Sandborn, and Shirley Holland of New Albany; five grandchildren, Kyla Sharp, Chandra Breneman, Kathleen Sharp, Sheena Chavez and Brandon Sharp; and three great-grandchildren, Maddison Sharp, Dalan Gibson and Bracey Breneman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jerry B. Sharp and Ronald E. Sharp; three brothers, Ralph Clifford, Glen Clifford and Harold Clifford; and grandson, Benjamin Sharp.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Stafford Cemetery with Pastor Don Reed officiating. Newkirk's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
