Virginia Mae Catt, 82, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7. 2006 at her residence.

Born May 30, 1924 in Dugger, she was the daughter of Herman Lovelace and Eunice Storey Lovelace.

She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Phoenix.

Survivors include: one son, Stephen Catt of Kansas; two daughters, Marian Catt of Phoenix, Ariz., and Barbara Tsikalas of Phoenix. Ariz; one brother, Norman Lovelace of Dugger; one sister, Charlotte Bailey or Mooresville; and three grandchildren, Sophia Tsikalas, Marian Tsikalas and Tony Tsikalas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Catt; and three sisters, Dora Lester, JoAnn Pigg and Marian Mitchell.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with the Rev. Cletus Bough officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday.
