Larry Wayne "Butch" Stephens, 62, of Switz City, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006 at his residence.

Born March 2, 1944, in Greene County, he was the son of Leo and Marie (Cuningham) Stephens.

He worked in maintenance at Otis Elevator.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Branam Stephens; two daughters, Christina (Gene) Gilbert of Linton and Heather Stephens of Greenwood; three sisters, Edna Troup of Linton and Shirley Stephens and Donna Stephens, both of Switz City; one brother, Earl Stephens of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren, Jessica Stephens, Zoe Vester and Sean Stephens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter Alexis Gilbert and Sean Gilbert.

There will be no service or visitation.

Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is in charge of arrangements.
