James D. "Jimmy" Sullivan

James D. "Jimmy" Sullivan, 45, passed away at Monday, Sept. 18, 2006 at his residence in Linton.

He was born Nov. 30, 1960, in Linton, the son of John H. and Mary Joann (Resler) Sullivan.

He was owner and operator of Willow Point Archery in Linton. He formerly worked at Marlin Ellett Maintenance. He attended the Linton First Christian Church and was a 1979 graduate of L&M High School.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Joann Sullivan of Linton, his wife, Amy K. (Rogers) Sullivan of Linton, to whom he was married July 25, 1997; two sons, Abraham Sullivan of Linton and Cody Shake of Linton; sister, Linda Provo of Worthington; three nieces, Angie Shepard of Worthington, Kammi Yeryar of Coalmont and Britanee House of Linton; nephew, Justin Rogers of Linton; brother-in-law, Randy Rogers of Linton; sister-in-law, Sara House of Linton, and his father and mother-in-law, Jack and Deneane Rogers of Linton.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Linton First Christian Church with Mike Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel and after 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
