Lelah R. Gee, 87, of Worthington passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2006 at Lyons Health & Living Center.

She was born June 7, 1919, in Owen County to Kenneth and Bessie (Shelburn) Phillips.

She was a homemaker and worked at RCA, she was a member of Switz City Full Gospel Church, and graduated from Switz City High School in 1937.

She is survived by two grandsons, Doug (Terri) Patterson of Newburgh; Tony (Anne) Patterson of Lebanon; five great grandchildren, Robbie and Alex Patterson of Newburgh, Laura, Katherine and Audrey Patterson of Lebanon; son-in-law, Bob Patterson of Lyons; three sisters, Geraldine "Gerri" Mitchell of Switz City; Mary Jo Smith of Mooresville; Wilma Smith of Worthington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Gee on Aug. 31, 1998; daughter, Betty Patterson; two sons, Gary Dean Gee and Ronald Lee Gee; one brother, Wilson Phillips; and one sister, Gretchen Pershing.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday with Brother Sam Hill officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. on Thursday until the time of service.
