Geneva Booker, 93, of Linton passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Glenburn Nursing Home.

Born Oct. 6, 1912 in Pleasantville, she was the daughter of Joseph and Luella (Enochs) Wright.

She was a member of the Indian Prairie Church in Carlisle.

Survivors include: two sons, Sherril Leon Booker, of Fort Myers, Fla. and Phillip Ray Booker, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Phillip Wayne Turner and Tina Marie Turner; and one great-grandchild Aaron Turner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon H. Booker in 1979; two brothers, Ora Padgett and Nelson Padgett; and two sisters, Belva Wright and Audra Lambright.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Chaplain Patti Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Indian Prairie Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday and before the service Monday.
