She was born in Dugger on Dec. 29, 1918, the daughter of Leo and Mary (Tressler) Calvert.
She was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School. She retired in 1980 from General Electric in Linton after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Southport Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Russell; a daughter, Eleanor D. Parrish and husband Richard of Spencer; a step-son, David Russell of Noblesville; a step-daughter, Mary Jane Lisota of Noblesville; a sister, Ruth Dyer of La Quinta, Calif.; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Elmer Burch.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Worthington Chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow at the Worthington Cemetery.
