Mildred I. Westfall, 87, Ellettsville passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.

Born Aug. 20, 1919 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Clarence E. and Emma (Roberts) Engledow.

She worked at Indiana University until her retirement in 1972.

Survivors include: two sons, Robert J. Westfall and wife, Jeannie, of Bloomington, Frank E. Westfall and wife, Kay, of Springville; daughter Sherry L. Westfall of Bloomington; sisters Ruth Turner, Melba Gillum, both of Bloomington, and Laverne Robertson of Spencer; grandchildren, Serena Pettyjohn, Scott Westfall, Pam Westfall and Julie Westfall; and great-grandchildren, Jarrod Westfall, Tyler Westfall, Dylan Workman, Jacob Westfall, Alisha White Sipes, Chelsea Westfall, Emily Pettyjohn and Maggie Pettyjohn.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington with The Rev. Mark Villanova officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville.
