Norman Richard "Dick" Risley, 68, of Lyons and formerly of Marco, passed away at 1:35 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at Lyons Health & Living Center.

He was born Jan. 9, 1938 in Sullivan County to Robert and Thelma (Lind) Risley. He married Patsy L. McDonald on April 6, 1958.

He was a construction worker with Local 1393 from Indianapolis and a member of Lyons American Legion Post No. 479.

Survivors include: one son, John Risley of Marco; three daughters; Dixie (John) Smith of Decatur, Tenn., Sherry Stewart of Linton, and Bobbi (Jason) Hicks of Henderson, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Jaime, Corey, April Miller, Kala Risley, Stephenie, Samantha, Steven, Sean Stewart, Gage, Brittany, Patrick Monier, Aaron Hicks; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Bradley, Haley Miller and Autumn Miller; one brother, Ted Risley of Westphalia; and a sister, Barbra (Howard) McCreary of Bedford.

Graveside visitation will be from 2-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn. The Rev. Mike Roth will officiate the graveside service that will follow.
