Mary Ann Strange, 81, Indianapolis and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.

She worked as a bookkeeper in the business of mortgage and insurance, retiring in 1989.

She was a member of Englewood Christian Church and its Loyal Mothers' Class.

Survivors include daughters, Ellen (Terry) Milligan of Indianapolis and Cindy Strange of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Patty Brinegar of Indianapolis; and brothers, Bernard Hansford of Bloomfield and Paul Hansford of Stratham, N.H.; grandchildren, Kelley Milligan, Holley (Sam) Rubenstein, Jamey (Josh) Peavler, and Andrew (Melissa) Milligan and four great-grandchildren, Jonah and Ella Peavler, Bram and Nathan Rubenstein.

She was preceded in death by her huband, Garold "Jerry" Strange daughter, Cathy Strange; a sister, Wilma Ruth Fuller and parents, Ruel and Dessie Hansford of Bloomfield.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
