Born Feb. 25, 1941 in Greene County, he was the son of Charles A. and Reva Rebecca (Null) Marshall.
He retired from Allison's in Indianapolis where he worked as a tool tryout mechanic. He was later employed at a machine shop in Mooresville as a grinder operator. He was a member of the United Auto Workers based in Indianapolis and was a member of the Greencastle Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include: his wife, Zoe Joyce (Bedford) Marshall, whom he married March 1, 1974; daughters and son-in-laws, Denise (Dan) Duncan of Poland, Cheryl (Harold) Sims of Greencastle and Reva Rivers of Poland; two sons and daughter-in-laws Walter (Rebecca) Marshall of Greencastle, Frank Marshall and Nevil K. Johnson of Jasonville; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. Larry Joe Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Sink Cemetery in Clay City.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday, and until the time of service Wednesday.
