Ernest "Ernie" DuBois, 90, of Patricksburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.

Born April 25, 1916 in Sullivan, he was the son of Christian and Stella (McGranaham) DuBois.

He was the owner of Ernest DuBois and Sons Excavating.

Survivors include: a son, Dale (Beverly)DuBois, of Poland; a daughter, June (Marvin)Query of Bloomfield; two brothers, Carl DuBois and Rex DuBois of Patricksburg; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene (White) DuBois in 1964; two sons, Jack and Thomas DeBois; three brothers, Elmer, Fred and Charley DuBois; three sisters, Lucy King, Nellie Beatty and Bertha Fulk.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer with the Rev. Donovan Newport offiiciating.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
