Doris A. Schubla, 79, of Linton, passed away at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Lyons Health & Living Center.

She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Linton, the daughter of John R. and Georgia (Mitchaner) Himebrook.

She was a member of the Linton First Baptist and for 30 years took care of the elderly in their homes.

Survivors include: three sons, James M. Schubla Jr. of Linton, Billy Robert Schubla of Linton, and Bryan Keith Schubla of Linton, and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Martin Schubla; two brothers, Rolland and Jon Himebrook; and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
