Margaret L. Ellett, 97, of Linton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1909 in Linton, she was the daughter of Albert and Maria (Madison) Wheeler.

She married George H. Ellett on Sept. 18, 1942.

A homemaker, she was a life member of the Moose Lodge 1434, VFW 7118, and Ladies Aux.

Suvivors include her son; Jerry Ellett of Linton, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband George H. Ellett on May 26, 1978, her parents, and one brother; Arthur William Wheeler.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, with the Rev. Hilary Vieck officiating and burial will follow.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m.
