Ophard "Slim" Tucker, 79, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer.

He was retired from G.E., and was a former businessman in Spencer.

Survivors include three sons, Steven Tucker, Lyle Tucker and Devon Tucker, all of Spencer; two daughters, Linda Spicer of Switz City and Nancy Hetser of Gosport; five brothers, Ode Tucker and Gib Tucker, both of Spencer, Leonard Tucker of Mount Meridian, Al Tucker of Cloverdale and Harold Tucker of Keosauqua, Iowa; and three sisters, Adell Keith, Lois Bixler and Chris Stahl, all of Spencer.

Service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. on Monday, and from 8:30 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Junior Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
