Donald Dewayne Jackson, 50, of Springville, passed away 9 p.m. on Friday Dec. 1, 2006 at his residence.

Born Sept. 5, 1956 in Bedford, he was the son of Donald W. and Carol Sue (McMurry) Jackson.

He was a self-employed truck driver before retiring in 1999 and was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church in Little Cincinnati.

Surviving relatives include: four sons, Blaine and Luke Jackson both of Bloomington, Mikel Jackson of Solsberry, and Dylan Jackson of Bloomfield; his mother, Carol Sue Jackson (McMurry) of Springville; his wife, Kay Jackson of Bloomington; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Jackson and one brother, Doug Jackson.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
