Michael Lee Harper, 43, of Springville, passed away at 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at his residence.

Born Sept. 5, 1963 in Linton, he was the son of Fred and Maxine (Bailey) Harper, of Springville, who survive.

He was a self-employed logger.

Other survivors include: two daughters Pamela Joe and her husband Chris Deckard of Bloomington, Alexis (Ali) Harper at home; two sisters Nancy Rollins (Curtis) of Bloomington, and Pam and husband, Bud Carr of Owensburg; one brother Bill Harper of Owensburg; and grandchildren, Connor, Bryre, Braxton, and Jadyne Deckard, all of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky Dwight Harper; and his maternal grandparents Randolph and Josephine Harper; and his maternal grandparents, Vernon and Fern Bailey.

Service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Flynn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and 12:30 p.m. until the hour service Thursday.
