Geneva Maxine Scott, 86, of Bloomfield, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007 at Lyons Health & Living Center.

Born June 3, 1920 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Stanford and Tabitha (Kinaman) Corya.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Gary Scott of Lyons; two daughters, Waynetta Wessell of Mooresville and Judy Pearson of Plainfield; one brother, Bob Lee Corya of Muncie; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne M. Scott on March 10, 1987; two brothers Herschel and Harold Corya; one sister, Inez Corya; one granddaughter, Robin Pearson; one great-grandson Brandon Pearson; and her parents.

Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Don Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home, and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday.
