Kathalene L. Alexander

Kathalene L. Alexander, 95, of Worthington, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at Lyons Health & Living Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1911, in Greene County to William F. and Nellie (Jessup) Jones.

She was a housewife and seamstress. She was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington and the Rebecca Lodge.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Martinez, Fresno, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Philene Huddleston, Idaho, Arabella Hamlin, Lebanon, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tom S. Alexander, April 5, 1985; two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with the Rev. Doug Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Calvertville Cemetery.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett after noon until the time of service Thursday.

Memorials may be given to the Sonshine Shop Food Pantry at the funeral home.
