Mildred Bohnert, 94, of Plainfield and formerly of Jasonville, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at Plainfield Healthcare Center.

Born Sept. 9, 1912 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of David Foy and Laura Hanners Foy.

She had worked at Real Silk Factory in Linton.

Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jane Mitchell of Clayton; two grandchildren, Lance Mitchell and Lisa Via; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Bohnert; four brothers, Leo Foy, Mack Foy, Earl Foy and Garrett Foy; and a granddaughter, Lori Mitchell.

At her request, a private family graveside service is scheduled. Mark Messmer will officiate.

McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville is in charge of arrangements.
