Chris Nick Sarris

Chris Nick Sarris, 60, of Linton, passed away at 5:24 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

He was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Linton, the son of Nick Chris and Deloris (Dennis) Sarris.

He was a member of Faithway Bible Church in Worthington, owned and operated S&S Construction for more than 30 years, was a 1965 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School, and attended Indiana State University.

Survivors include his mother Deloris Sarris of Linton; a son, Nick Chris Sarris of Linton; three brothers, Nick Sarris of Terre Haute, Mark Sarris of Bloomington, and Tim Sarris of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. Terry Dowell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. on today, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
