Stanley H. "Tuffy" Gilbert

Stanley H. "Tuffy" Gilbert, 71, of Lewis, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

He was born May 16, 1935.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was a retired coal miner and roofer.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Gilbert; one daughter, Whitney Gilbert of Lewis; and two brothers, Sam Gilbert and Jack Gilbert, both of Lewis.

Service was Sunday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Burial was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
