Marilee A. York, 70, of Johnston, Iowa passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

She was born Sept. 16, 1936 in Pleasantville.

She had lived in Des Moines since 1957 where she was a homemaker and had worked as a church receptionist.

She married Robert York on Aug. 29, 1954, who survives.

Other survivors include: her children, Brenda (Mike) McCalley of Poulsbo, WA, Vicki (Jim) Berkley of Des Moines and Dale (Shelly) York of West Des Moines; her mother, Dorothy Boyll of Bedford; her sister, Kathleen Rollins of Bedford; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service was Jan. 23 at First Federated Church. Private burial took place at Resthaven Cemetery.
