William W. Stinson, 78, Jasonville passed away at 4:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

He was born Sept. 19, 1928 in Sullivan County to Martin Ray and Edna Bashore Stinson.

He was a retired supervisor for Public Service in Sullivan.

Surivors include: his wife, Barbara Anderson Stinson of Jasonville; one son, Donald Stinson of Sullivan; two daughters, Deborah Chervenko of Connersville and Nancy Briscoe of Brazil; two brothers, Norman Stinson of Belle Union and Ralph Stinson of Dugger; one sister, Norma Pirtle of Cincinatti, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. on Friday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger. Cremation will follow.
