Lonnie L. England, 89, of Springville, passed away Monday, March 26, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington.

Born, May 10, 1917, in Bicknell, he was the son of Bert and Rosie (Reed) England.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include: his wife of 68 years, Margaret V. (Caves) England; four sons, William "Pete" England, of Bloomington, Wayne England of Springville, Phillip Dean England of Watford City, N.D., Russell England of Bloomington; three daughters, Rosie Cole and Diana Burch, both of Springville, Janice Eddy of Bloomington; one sister, Juanita Pruett of Worthington; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ivan England; two grandchildren, Wesley, Bradley England; two brothers and five sisters.

Service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington with the Rev. Don English officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
