Betty Jean Gorby, 47, Whitewright, Texas and formerly of Coalmont, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 in an automobile accident in Whitewright, Texas.

Born March 7, 1958 in Coalmont, she was the daughter of Jack and Wanda Bickel.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lisa Blanton and Chelsey Jo Gorby, both of Texas; one son, David Gorby of Hawaii; two grandchildren, Alexis and Diondre Blanton, both of Texas, her mother Wanda Bickel of Coalmont, and her father, Jack Bickel of Freedom; two sisters, Mary Ann Griffith of Montana, Tammy Heck of Coalmont five brothers, Rusty Gorby, Jimmy Gorby, Joe Gorby and Charlie Gorby, all of Coalmont, and Jackie Gorby of Montana.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, Terry Gorby.

A private memorial service will be at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Friendly Grove Church Cemetery near Coalmont. Cremation will follow.

There will be no visitation.
