David L. Pearson, Sr., 67, of Linton, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born in Greene County on Sept. 18, 1939, he was the son of Hershel and Ethel (Goben) Pearson.

He was a farmer for 30 years before retiring in 2002.

Survivors include one son, David L. (Michele) Pearson, Jr. of Linton; two grandsons; Jeremy and Justin Pearson; two sisters; Betty Cook of Bedford and Pauline Deere of Cambria, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 11 a.m. today. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
