Juanita Daniels, 81, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born Dec. 9, 1925 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Walter C. and Sarah Anna (Holt) Malone.

She lived in Columbus for the past 21 years and previously resided in Shelbyville.

A 1944 graduate of Bloomfield High School, she was a former member of Delta Theta Tau.

She retired in 1986 from the former Attitype Inc. in Shelbyville as a sewing department supervisor.

Survivors include: a daughter, Vicki Daniels of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Malone and Earl Malone; sisters, Naomi Ruth Pilk, Lois Chaney, Mabel V. Pilk; three infant sisters; and one grandson.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmomy-Ewing Broadway Chapel with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
