Oris J. Medcalf

Oris J. Medcalf, 74, of Linton, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born Sept. 11, 1932 in Linton, she was the daughter of Claude Reed and Callie Emmerson Reed.

She is survived by her husband, William R. Medcalf; three sons, Ronald Medcalf of Gulf Port, MS., Rick Medcalf of Terre Haute, and Robert Medcalf of Linton; two brothers, Oran Reed of Linton and Otis Lee Reed of Flint, MI.; a sister; LaDonna Sue Meurer of Linton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Cremation is scheduled.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
