Frances B. (Canady) Ward, 67, of Ossian and formerly of Linton, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at home.

She was born May 4, 1939 in Greene County, the daughter of the late Herbert and Audrey Canady.

She was a 1957 graduate of Switz City High School, attended Living Faith Church and was a member of Eagles 248 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by sons, Patrick (Jodi) Landis of Ossian and Jeffrey (Leslie) of Cebu, Philippines; daughters, Teresa (Roger) Sills of Yoder, and Tammy and Patsy Henson both of Kokomo; a brother, John Canady of Arizona; sisters, Wilma Rose Jarrett and Ruby Achors both of Linton; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Annie Sorrells.

Service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd in Fort Wayne.

Freinds may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
