Vivian M. Bedwell, 88, of Linton, passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Sunday April 8, 2007 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

She was born in Sullivan County on Feb. 28, 1919 to Robert Robertson and Nellie Waggoner Robertson.

She was a member of the Mounty Calvary Church in Sullivan County.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Bedwell; three sons, Robert, Donald and Johnny Bedwell; a daughter, Martha L. Tryon; and one grand-daughter.

She is survived by three sons, Edward Bedwell of Vicksburg, Billie Gene Bedwell of Cloverdale, Joseph R. Bedwell of Cass; two daughters, Josephine Bedwell of Washington and Donna Geatches of Linton, a sister Laverne Lewis of St. Claire, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with the Rev. John Booker officiating. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and before the service Wednesday.
