Born Aug. 7, 1972 in Bloomington, he was the son of John L. and Jane (Gilmore) Duzan.
Mike graduated from Bloomfield High School and was a part of the baseball team for several years helping the coach. He worked for nine years at Vest Quick Mart in Worthington. He was also a board member and client of the Greene County Developmental Center in Lyons and was a member of the First Christian Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include: his mother, Jane (Gilmore) Duzan of Bloomfield; his grandmother Mildred Duzan of Bloomfield; his grandfather Al Gilmore of Bloomington; one aunt Jean Murphy of Bloomington; one uncle Jeff and his wife, Col, of Newark; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John L. Duzan on June 17, 1999; grandfather Abe Duzan; and grandmother, Ruth (Meme) Gilmore.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the First Christian Church in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and the Rev. Dave Wilde officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 1 p.m. until the hour at the church.
Donations may be made in Mike's name to the Greene County Developmental Center in Lyons in care of Jenkins Funeral Home.
