She was born in Shelbyville on June 23, 1927, the daughter of Marshall, Sr. and Alice (Marley) King.
She was a homemaker and previously owned a beauty shop in Worthington, and worked at the Billie Style Shop. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilary in Worthington.
Survivors include: a son, Ellis Knoy of Worthington; two brothers, Bob King of Ocala, Fla., and Raymond King of Vincennes; seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie B. "Pete" Knoy on July 21, 1991, a brother Marshall King, Jr., a sister, Phyllis Epperson, and her parents.
Memorial service will be at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Worthington Chapel at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to invite everyone to a meal immediately following the service at the VFW in Worthington.
A private burial will be in the Worthington Cemetery at a later date.
