Richard D. Glass, 59, of Jasonville passed away at 6:47 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007 at Bloomington Hospital.

Born Aug. 11, 1947 in Linton, he was the son of Carl W. and Alma G. (McQueary) Glass.

He was a coal miner.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia A. (Wiggington) Glass, whom he married May 5, 1979; a daughter, Adriana Jackson; brothers and sisters-in law, Carl and Barbara Glass of Osteen, FL, Donald and Carolyn Glass of Little Rock, AK, and Larry and Connie Glass, Sr. of Cory; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joyce Ann Glass and Carolyn Sue Bruce; and a brother, James Glass.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville with Pastor Carl Leth officiating.

There will be no visitation.

McClannahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville is handling the arrangements.
