Born Nov. 17, 1914 in Greene County, she was the the daughter of Mary Watson-Timmons.
She owned & operated the Frosty Bar, which served soft ice cream in Linton, with her husband in the late 1950's through the 1960's. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Eastern Star in Linton.
Survivors include: three sons, Mike Baker and his wife, Wilma, of Linton; Richard Baker and his wife, Mingon, of Plainfield, and Tom Baker and his wife, Carol, of Brownsburg; a daughter, Linda Greenwood of Dyarsburg, TN; 10 grandchildren, Shane, Shawnda, Trish, Judy, Travis, Chris, Lisa, Lori, Lana, and Tim; 14 great-grandchildren and a nephew, Donnie Watson of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Baker, a brother, Jay Watson, a grandson, James Strickland; and her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Fairview Cemetery, Nick Moore officiating.
