Born Feb. 6, 1934, in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Samuel Thomas and Agnes (Hatfield) Parks.
She retired from General Electric after 25 years. She was a member of Faithway Bible Church in Worthington.
Survivors include: her husband, Harry Wayne Templeton, to whom she was married Nov. 14, 1950, of Linton; two daughters, Darla LeCocq and her husband, Bill, of Linton, and Debi Manuel and her husband, Ray, of Dugger; three sons, Steve Wayne Templeton and his wife, Candace, of Linton, Rick Templeton and his wife, Phil, of Linton and Sam Templeton and his wife, Dona, of Switz City; two sisters, Ruth Cunningham and her husband, Bill, of Linton, and Mildred Mason of Linton; a brother-in-law, Ralph Bennett and his wife, Irene, of Linton; two sisters-in-law, Pat Monier, her husband, Carlos, of Linton and Mary Long of Indianapolis, 10 grandchildren, Leslie, Billy, Brandon, Dan, Ricky, Josh, Danessia, Casi, Kelsie, & Luke; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elva Mollett-Gavin; a brother, Tom Parks; and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Rev. Terry Dowell and James Stone officiating.
Burial will follow at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to Faithway Bible Church through the funeral home.
