Born Dec. 7, 1940 in Bloomington,he was the son of Robert E. & Jessie L. Rupp.
He was a 1959 graduate of the Indiana Solders & Sailors Children's Home in Knightstown.
He was retired from General Electric in Bloomington. He was an Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Rangers and he was a member of American Legion Post No. 196 in Bloomfield and a member of the Union at GE in Bloomington,
Surviving relatives include: his wife Kelly Rupp of Lyons; a step-daughter Kimberly and husband, Jeremy Browning of Bloomington, a step-son Jeffery and wife Krystal Harden of Bloomington; a step-granddaughter Mackenzie Browning of Bloomington; a step-grandson Scott Harden of Bloomington; a sister Susie of Bloomington; and a granddaughter, Lindsey Rupp also of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his son, Landon Joe Rupp as well as a brother and a sister.
There will be no service or visitation.
The family wishes all donations be made to the Indiana Solders & Sailors Children's Home in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, which is handling the funeral arrangements.
