Larry Eugene Hendricks, 57, of Cumberland Gap, TN and formerly of Owensburg, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at his residence after a year-long battle with cancer.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He retired from NSWC Crane.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Kris; daughters Michele Hendricks of Tennessee and Tish Terrell of Bloomington and best friend, Dave Cummings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Water and Barbara Jo (Thomasson) Hendricks; and a sister, Priscilla Hendricks.

He was cremated in Tennessee.

There will be a small private gathering of close friends and family at the Owensburg Cemetery at noon Saturday.
