Born April 10, 1928 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Wesley and Hazel (Trump) Sexton.
A homemaker, she worked at TRW and Formfit. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church and the Phythian Sisters.
Survivors include: her husband, whom she married on May 24, 1946; daughters, Carolyn (Jim) of Greenwood, Shirley (Rex) Lowe of Clay City, Jeanne (Rick) Hammond of Vicksburg; a son, Eddie Lee (Jackie) of Jasonville; sisters, Lena Bell Goodwin of Shelbyville and Elsie Price of Marietta; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wesley Sexton, Cletus Sexton and Jobie Sexton; and an infant son, Edgar White.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Sam Bush officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m.on Tuesday until the hour of service.
