Ellis-Powers exchange wedding vows

On June 23, Sarah Rose Ellis and Chad William Powers were joined together in marriage at the home Powers' grandparents.

It was a beautiful, gentle, breezy, cloud-filled day and so in a place where Chad and Sarah had shared many wonderful memories they were married. Under the towering maples and next to the lake the two exchanged their own written vows as family and friends looked on.

A reception filled with laughter and love, cake cutting, toasting and dancing was held at the Elks Lodge.

They honeymooned in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Chad will graduate from Indiana State University in May, while Sarah is attending Indiana University.

They are currently residing in Terre Haute.
