Joseph "Joe" Leonard, 66, of Bloomfield, passed away at 1:56 p.m. on Sunday July 22, 2007 at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington.

Born September 20, 1940 in French Lick, he was the son of James and Margaret (Lashbrook) Leonard.

He was retired from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a computer operator. He was a member of the AMVETS Post No. 2000.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Carolyn (Gifford) Leonard of Bloomfield, two sons Kevin Leonard of Indianapolis and Robert Leonard of Bloomfield, one brother James Leonard of Linton; one God son Ryan Hunter Miller of Avon; one step-daughter Heather Schoolcraft, of Bedford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be at 11a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Glen Stidd officiating.
