Loretta Kent, 61, of Bloomington, passed away 6:53 p.m. Sunday July 8, 2007 at Bloomington Hospital.

Born July 11, 1945 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Leo and Katherine (Zigler) Gregory.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include: one son, James R. Kent of Bloomington; two daughters, Kimberly S. Sater of Wickenburg, Arizona and Emma L. McKinley of Greendale; three sisters, Norma Porter of Worthington, Wilma Ray and Doretta Hearth, both of Bloomington; one brother, Norman Gregory of Switz City; seven grandchildren and two great, grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bill Gregory.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Russell Shields officiating. Interment will be in Solsberry Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one-hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department in care of Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home.
