Mary M. Drake Carothers Wilburn Anderson, 85, of Dugger, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2007 at her residence.

She was born in Muhlenburg Co. KY on July 19, 1921 to Andrew Drake and Elizabeth Pendley Drake.

She is survived by her husband, Arnett B. Anderson of Dugger; two sons, Garland C. Carothers Jr. of Winterhaven, Fl., and Harold T. Carothers of Lewisburg, TN; one sister, Dola Mallory of Madisonville, KY., seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Garland C. Carothers Sr.; her second husband, William Ernest Wilburn; four brothers,J.W. Drake, Rusaw Drake, Floyd F. Drake, and A.P. Drake; and one sister; Pansy McBroom.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday July 9, 2007 at the Dugger Cemetery.
